yep at 1:21am....a new melody popped into my head.....i just recorded the bit so i can remember it.....i guess now that my mind and soul gave birth to "Starburst"....now "Starburst" just needs to grow and mature....i guess my soul is ready to give birth to another song...immediately.....i gotta work on my flamenco Alegrias song!!!...gah...inspiration needs to stay in one place at times....gah this new melody....geez it's also insanely catchy....an upbeat alternative rock song....and now i'm insanely tired......good night.

Yep...that is the name of the new song "Starburst". I like that name oh WHOLE lot better than "Song for Tomorrow." Can't wait to work on it with Joe this weekend and perform it live in December! Yippeee...  I've been writing this melody for this new song nonstop for the past few days. I wrote 2 different songs then realized it was the same song, in the same key, with slight variations......GAH!!! so I am going with the bare simple version...I've been writing the song lyrics all this morning and to my grande surprise, the lyrics are flowing so easily......i don't get it.....well for now the song is titled "Song For Tomorrow". Don't know if I will keep that song title....I'm not sure if I like it....NO...I don't like it but it's there by default for now as the song grows and then I will change it. I'm hurrying up before my voice class today with my teacher so I can present the song to her. Then, Sunday I will be working with my new guitarist Joe on the set list for December's gig..... Can't wait to work out these new originals 1. Vini Ici, 2. Wake Up, and 3. Song For Tomorrow with my voice and Joe on guitar! So excited to be writing and performing my own material. Next song I must compose and sing in a few weeks....is a Flamenco Alegrias for a Flamenco dance class! Eeeek! Back to work! Anyhow, here is a beautiful Flamenco Alegrias danced by legend Sara Baras....I don't know who the singers are in this video, however my teacher Saray Munoz use to be one of her main singers in her company. Ok for real... Back to work! I must finish this song! I only have a few hours left before voice class! Oh...I can't wait to release my EP album! eeek! hmmm...What should I work on next?

I am thinking of the acoustic arrangement of my new song....I'm getting ready to meet my new guitarist next weekend. I decided to go a possible new direction for my next performance. I'm happy with the set. I'll be singing about 6-7 songs...3 of them are my originals. Woohoo! :) Thinking about possibly doing a cover of this song. Such a haunting beautiful song.... The title to my new song. "Wake Up." It's a rock-reggae song. It's insanely catchy. Major EARWORM ALERT! Those who have heard it say they can't get it out of their heads. In a good way.
